Dial-up Networking under Windows 2003 Server

Before you use this manual....
It is assumed that your modem and Dial-Up Networking have been installed correctly. The settings as they are given here are specifically meant for use with SPECTRUM. Other internet service providers may require different settings.

Click , take control panel, network connections, click on new connection wizard

Select “connect to the internet”

Select “Connect using a dial-up modem”

Enter ISP name “ Spectrum” here

Enter spectrum dialing number

Select the appropriate option from this. It should appear as shown

Give your spectrum “user name and password”

If you want to have a shortcut in the desktop click on the check box and click on Finish.
