Dial-up Networking under Windows XP (For already configured accounts)

1. To start a dial-up go to Start > Connect To and right-click on the Spectrum to get the menu
and choose properties

2. The Properites window will looks similar to the following:

3. Choose Options Tab and enable the following as shown in figure.

4. Choose Security tab and enable the radio button as shown below

5. Select the Networking tab and enable the following as shown and select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click on properties button

6. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties, enable the buttons as shown.

12. Click OK to get back to main network connection properties window and click OK again to exit the configuration then retry your connection.
