Password Protect your mails in Outlook Express 5.x

Introduction: This feature will enable multiple users to use Outlook Express 5.x in such a way that one user can see only his mails. Enabling this feature, will create multiple mail boxes in Outlook Express. Only if, the correct username and password is given, the user will be able to manage his account.

Note: These settings are applicable only for MS Outlook Express 5.x. Spectrum won't be responsible for any kind of data loss or any such damage done to the software. So kindly backup all necessary data and proceed.!!

In Outlook Express, take File>>Identities>>Manage Identities..

In the following screen click on the New button.

Now, type the name of the new Identity. And tick mark the "Require a password" check box. Now you will be asked for a new password. Give the password and click on OK.

Now, the new Identity is created, and if you want to switch over to the new Identity, click on the "Yes" button in the following screen. Now you need to re-configure your POP3 account.
